Beef & Vegetables in Foil Preparation

Ingredients
1 kg beef tenderloin
¼ cauliflower
1 broccoli
3 firm-fleshed potatoes
2 turnips
1 small cucumber
1 carrot
1 tbsp. olive oil
Salt of Guerande
Ground black pepper

 

Instructions:

  • Peel the vegetables and dice them. Keep only the tops of cauliflower and broccoli.
  • Put vegetables on aluminum foil. Add olive oil, salt and pepper. Fold the edges of the aluminum foil to make a packet.
  • Place the foil on the griddle and cook for 20 to 25 minutes. Check the cooking by gently opening.
  • Cut the beef into cubes. Sear on the griddle for 5 minutes, turning frequently. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the beef with the vegetables and enjoy your meal!

Advice: You can add thyme and bay leaves to the vegetables while cooking in the foil for more flavor.
