Elevate the Customer Experience with the Pass-Through Pickup Pod™ from Hatco

Milwaukee, WI – November 2023 – Hatco® Corporation continues to meet the rising demand for delivery and to-go orders with the Pass-Through Pickup Pod™, propelled by Minnow™. 

The Pod is a self-service pickup solution that helps automate in-venue takeout and remote delivery. The pass-through models have the same features as the original Pickup Pod but with the added convenience of rear-loading doors. This enhances operator efficiency, allowing the unit to be accessed from the back for loading to-go orders, and reduces lobby/dining area congestion. 

The Pass-Through Pickup Pod features eight individually insulated cubbies and is available in two model types. The MPP-8PT models are operable for ambient-only food holding. The MPP-8HPT models are heated with a thermostatic control and temperature range of 140°F to 185°F (60°C to 85°C); the heat can be turned off for ambient holding. 

Customers and delivery personnel can easily access their reserved cubby by scanning a QR code or using an embedded link via SMS. The Pickup Pod is powered by cloud-based software, can integrate with Toast or Square point of sale (POS) systems, and works with third-party delivery services such as Uber Eats, DoorDash and more.
