Hatco Introduces the Induction Rice Cooker for High-Volume Rice Production
MILWAUKEE – February 2026 – Hatco® continues to expand its induction equipment line with the launch of the Induction Rice Cooker, a high-performance solution that delivers consistent, high-quality rice for foodservice operations with demanding production needs.
Built to handle both small and large batches, the Induction Rice Cooker uses induction technology to provide precise, even heat while maximizing energy efficiency and improving rice consistency and quality compared to gas alternatives. Operators can prepare multiple rice varieties simultaneously, streamlining kitchen workflows and maintaining dependable performance during peak service periods.
Key Features:
• Multi-Zone Cooking: Features four independent cooking zones with separate controls.
• Programmable Cooking Cycles: Each zone includes three programmable presets with a four-stage cooking cycle (Boil, High Simmer, Low Simmer, and Rest) for consistent cooking.
• Efficient Operation: Cook time is approximately 30 minutes for white rice, supporting high-throughput rice production.
• Pan Capacity: Each pan can cook up to 8 cups of dry rice, and up to 20 cups of cooked rice.
• Easy-to-Clean Design: Fully sealed construction simplifies cleaning and maintenance.
The IRC-4 accommodates four third-size, 6' (152 mm) deep stainless steel pans and includes four perforated false bottoms to improve water circulation during cooking, along with a full-unit removable pan locator. It also features fully sealed construction to simplify cleaning and maintenance.
The unit’s fully electric design eliminates the need for hot heating elements and, in most installations, does not require a vent hood (check local codes), offering added flexibility for kitchen layouts and safer operation. It is ideal for full service restaurants, non-commercial foodservice, and quick service restaurants. Models are available in 208, 220, 230, or 240V.
